The Forgotten Orchard at the Royal Botanic Gardens

The apple season is well underway and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh will be hosting an Apple Festival on the 20th and 21st October. A range of activities will be ongoing throughout the two days, with opportunities for you to taste some delicious apples and find out how to grow your own!

Eco Drama are delighted to announce that they will be taking part in the festival with performances of ‘The Forgotten Orchard’ on both Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October.  The Forgotten Orchard, a show dedicated to apples, is a funny and moving tale  which, through the eyes of Katy and her Grandad, asks questions about the food we eat: where does our food come from, how far has it travelled, what does it taste like, and crucially, can we grow our own?

There will be performances at 12noon and 2.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.  The show is suitable for ages 6+ and lasts for 1 hour, with an opportunity to taste some apples afterwards.
