Following on from our popular sessions in 2017-2018, we are pleased to announce the return of our Out to Play Outdoor Learning teacher CPD session.
During the session, participants will learn how to integrate outdoor learning into the Curriculum for Excellence, reimagine school grounds, and utilise creative learning methods such as drama, storytelling and song to engage learners with the natural environment. Suitable for primary school teachers and education facilitators. The session will also cover techniques for managing behaviour and safety when learning outdoors. A complimentary copy Eco Drama’s Out to Play Resource Pack is also included within the cost of this session.
When: Wednesday 3rd October 2018
Where: Primary School in Glasgow (still TBC)
“I hadn’t realised the power of imagination within outdoor learning. Really informative session, lots of ideas to start with. Thank you.”
Irene Boyle, Corpus Christi Primary
“Outdoor learning is an area that I need to develop and this CPD has given me the confidence and skills to take my class out.”
Marelle Sturrock, Sandwood Primary
A place on the CPD costs £45 and includes a complimentary copy of the Out to Play Resource Pack (normally £16). This event is limited to 20 attendees per session and will be allocated on a first come first-served basis.
We may also be able to visit your school with a CPD session for all of your teachers in your school grounds. This is a useful opportunity if Outdoor Learning is a priority for you this year and provides an opportunity to seek specific advice about your school, playground space, and any safety concerns. Please get in touch at email@example.com to discuss further.
